A new Atego 1630 to be used for transporting horses to campdrafting events.
The O’Donnell family have just taken delivery of their new Mercedes-Benz Atego 1630 from MTC. Powered by a 300HP engine with an 8sp Automated transmission, the truck will be used for safely transporting their horses to campdrafting events.
Campdrafting is a unique Australian sport involving a horse and rider working cattle. The riding style is Australian stock, similar to American Western riding. It is thought the sport developed in outback Queensland among the stockmen and drovers in informal competitions to prove their horse riding skills. The first formal campdrafting competition occurred in way back in 1885 at the Tenterfield Show.
Thanks for your support Michael, Brianna & Reagan. Good luck with your future events!
