Latay Transport’s new Freightliner Cascadia 126 with Detroit Integrated Powertrain

Paul, Lachlan, Taylor & Nicole Hutley from Latay Transport in Kempsey have just taken delivery of their brand new Freightliner Cascadia 126 with a 36”XT Sleeper from Mavin Truck Centre. The truck is powered by a 600hp Detroit DD16 Engine and has the Detroit DT12 Transmission along with the the full Cascadia safety package. It will be used to carry general freight to and from Sydney and the Port Macquarie and Kempsey region.

Latay’s new Cascadia also had a custom chassis paint and fuel tanks completed by Dylan and the Team in our Paint and Panel department at Mavin Truck Centre.

The customised fleet colour for Latay’s Transport using Premium PPG Paint and with the chrome extra’s fitted by our team really gave the new Cascadia and extremely clean smart presentation.

This particular Cascadia also has the Detroit Integrated Powertrain (IDP) which is specifically designed, engineered and assembled to work together as a single unit for optimal drivetrain efficiency.

IDP integrates the fuel efficient DD16 engine with the technologically advanced DT12 On-Highway Series transmission and specifically engineered Detroit steer and high-speed ratio tandem axles for optimal, efficient performance.
