The new Actros was awarded International Truck of the Year thanks to its superb specification and design. Features like Telligent Lane Assist, a larger and more comfortable bed with adjustable head section, and the innovative PowerShift 2 gearbox all add up to a truck that’s safer, more comfortable and easier to drive than ever before.

Better economy.
With the new Mercedes PowerShift 2 automatic gearshift (standard specification with all on-highway vehicles), reliable and economical BlueTec® engines, and powertrain configurations perfectly aligned with individual haulage tasks, the Actros continues its economical course. Euro 5 engines and exceptionally long service intervals further enhance efficiency.

More comfortable.
The new Actros excels with an ergonomically designed workplace and plenty of space to move around. It once again sets new benchmarks in functionality, comfort and equipment. From the optimised steering system and enhanced instrument cluster to the standard rain/light sensor and new luxury bed in the lower sleeping area. A range of practical features provide extra comfort, including a towel holder and shaving mirror.

The Actros is equipped with a series of outstanding safety features as standard. A number of optional dynamic control and driver assistance systems are also available – to further reduce risks and enhance safety.

Weighs less and works like a heavyweight
A high payload, low fuel consumption, exemplary reliability, safety and driver-oriented comfort – which means that the Axor delivers a convincing performance in medium and long-distance operations. Both on the road and below the line.

Robust, powerful and yet still cost-effective. That's what makes the Axor so special. It is a master of all trades, whether it be mid-to-long-distance haulage or heavy-duty short-radius distribution. In other words, the perfect all-rounder. Available as a prime mover, rigid and all wheel drive.

Four cabs, no compromises
With the L-cab and L-cab with raised roof, the Axor is ideally equipped to handle the challenges of medium-distance distribution. The L-cab is fitted with the comfortable standard bed and the raised roof variant offers a comfortable standing height, plenty of stowage space and is optionally available with a second (luxury) bed in the upper sleeping area. The S-cab or S-cab with rear panel extension for the Axor are also carefully designed to deal with the vigours of every truck application and to meet all driver requirements.

The high performance powertrain.
The Axor offers cost-effective compliance with Euro 4 and Euro 5 in medium-distance distribution with durable and powerful 6-cylinder in-line engines in three output categories – low fuel consumption, low particulate/exhaust emissions and gratifyingly long service intervals.

With the Axor you can go about your business easily, economically and in comfort. This is down to its application-based transmissions, gearshifts and axles, as well as the weight-optimised frame and finely tuned chassis with a range of suspension variants.

An agile performer.

It was precisely these aspects that were focused on during the development and modification of the Atego powertrain. All in all making it a vehicle you can rely on day after day, boasting compact dimensions and super handling to make it an agile performer.

The new engine start/stop system cuts fuel consumption even further, making the vehicle not only more cost-effective, but also more environmentally compatible. Whatever you’re transporting, each detail of the Atego is designed to cope with the demands of light-duty short-radius distribution.

With a choice of four cab variants, three different cockpits and a wealth of equipment options, the interior of the Atego leaves nothing to be desired. Whether in inner-city areas or on the construction site, when space is tight, the Atego scores full marks with its good handling and versatility.

The fuel-efficient and reliable BlueTec® engines in the Atego are designed for particularly economical operation and are optionally available with a Euro 5 rating.
